Your adventure begins upon arrival in Kathmandu, followed by a scenic flight to Phaplu, where the trek starts. The trail is gentle and family-friendly, winding through lush forests and crossing charming suspension bridges. Along the way, you’ll encounter traditional villages, Mani walls, and colorful prayer flags that reflect the region’s rich religious heritage.

During the trek, you’ll visit several Buddhist monasteries, including Taksindu Gompa and Phungmuche Monastery, and get a close look at the Sherpa way of life. The warm hospitality of the Sherpa people will make your journey even more memorable.

A full day is spent in Junbesi, exploring the village and immersing yourself in local culture. The trek then leads back to Phaplu, concluding your adventure.

The route offers stunning views of snowcapped peaks such as Numbur (6,959 m), Karyolung (6,511 m), and other mountains of the Everest Himalayan range. The best time for this trek is during autumn (September to November), when the skies are clear, offering spectacular vistas. Spring (March to May) is also a great option for trekking.
